I’m delighted to share that Dubai has officially joined the Global Resilient Cities Network, making it the first city in the GCC region to do so.

This is more than a symbolic milestone, it reflects a strong commitment toward building a city that is resilient, sustainable, and prepared for future challenges. By becoming part of GRCN, Dubai now has access to a global community of leading cities dedicated to exchange of best practices, resilient-city planning, disaster-management strategies, and long-term sustainable development.

For businesses, urban stakeholders, and citizens alike, this step means enhanced urban systems, smarter infrastructure, and better readiness to respond to crises while ensuring continuity of growth, from climate adaptation and crisis-response capabilities, to long-term sustainable city planning.
